RachelinFrance reporting for blogging!

 Hello internets!

I am not disappeared

We are in Arles, France. Just me and the big (5 & 7) kids. Travel toddler twins would be a lot.

Little Lily was very tired yesterday after staying up until 11pm the night before travel.

We survived a trip to a French grocery store. I forgot that “meil” means honey. I don’t actually know French, but we now have honey Cheerios. We also have pitted olives. And yogurt that “tastes different”

Ezra asked if they eat Shepards pie here. My non traveling British kids are in for an adventure.

More family arrive today. I am excited to be on adventure again! Even if my adventure started with a 8:30 bedtime.

  1. France is my HAPPY PLACE! I hope you have an amazing time and enjoy your family. 8:30 bedtime is a bit of a drag, and a bit awesome. Lean in, I guess. Things will be less crowded in the mornings.

  2. France is MY happy place, too! Have a wonderful time and write more soon! We went to Les Baux de Provence which is not too far from Arles.

  3. I am sure you could find something like shepherds pie, but in France it will be something with a fancy name like pomme du melange avec le petite pois! They are in for some fun food treats for sure. I like honey Cheerios and think that they are a nice travel treat for the kids that aren't as sugar laden as something like Frosted Flakes! How is the mistral? Is it strong right now?

  4. How fun! Eating in new countries is a challenge for some of us, me and my kiddo included. I hope you have a fantastic time!
